*sigh*

If you only knew how much you hurt me, maybe you would change your ways.
I feel so dissapointed in your actions but I know you'll never change.

back into training for a new year..

It's the start of a new year and Im so happy to be back into training.
Myself and my fellow dancers of 'The Collektive' have been working hard putting together a new show that will be performed at the chinese new year festival on the 24th(sunday)on Victoria street in West Richmond.

I havn't danced with The Collektive for about 4 months so im really trying to work hard. I want to prove that Im a good enough person/dancer to be apart of this amazing group. The inspiration I get from being around these dancers makes we want to work harder every time the music comes on. I feel as though this new set has helped me reconnect to this group and the individuals that are apart of it.

A large portion of my focus last year was based on my other beloved group 'Alpha'. This year Im taking a step towards growing with The Collektive and putting as much energy into making this group grow as I did last year for Alpha.
The connecting I have with each group and it's individuals is very different from one another and at times I really feel torn between the two. When ever I dance with one of my groups over the other, part of me is thinking about the other group and how they are carrying along without me. No doubt they can work as well if I am there or not,but even still I wonder how they feel that I didn't choose them this time. This type of dilema comes with dancing in two groups and not wanting to leave one for the other.
Although I have a great deal of history with Alpha I have the same level of love and respect for The Collektive because we all feel the urge by pass dancing simply being a hobbie.

Although the situation does cause some up set I couldn't see my life without eaither one of my two groups and wouldn't trade my experiences with them for anything. They are both extremely talented and inspiring groups that I love and adore and I can't wait to see what each will accomplish this year.

All i can say is... bring on 2010!
